Nature Sounds is an iOS app that plays relaxing sound scenes, sound mixes, timers, and optional wake-up alarms. The app is designed to work locally on your device and does not require an account.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking SDKs, or analytics SDKs in the app.

2. Information We Collect

Nature Sounds does not ask you to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or payment information through the app.

The app may store preferences locally on your device, such as timer length, alarm setting, selected sound, sound volume, and related playback settings. These settings are used to make the app work as expected and remain on your device unless you remove the app or reset related settings.

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and description of the issue.

3. App Permissions

Notifications and alarms: Nature Sounds may request permission to schedule wake-up alarms and notification fallback alerts. These permissions are used only to provide alarm functionality.
Background audio: The app uses background audio so sound playback can continue when the app is not in the foreground.
Live Activities or alarm presentation features: Where supported by iOS, the app may use system alarm or live activity capabilities to present alarm-related controls.

4. How We Use Information

Local app settings are used to provide core features including audio playback, sound selection, timers, alarms, and user preferences. Support emails are used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve app quality.

6. Data Retention

Local settings remain on your device for as long as the app is installed or until you change them. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain support records, and meet legal or operational requirements.

7. Children

Nature Sounds is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Your Choices

You can disable notifications or alarm permissions in iOS Settings.
You can change or delete local app preferences by changing settings in the app or removing the app from your device.
You can contact us to request deletion of support emails or ask privacy questions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and publish the revised policy on this page.
